REACH

At UCUMC blessing and serving others through mission and ministry is very important to us…in fact, it’s part of our Mission Statement.  We seek to be a church that changes the world by making disciples who Bless others, Belong in community and Believe in Jesus.  Blessing others is at the forefront of making disciples and changing the world!!  We want to Reach Around the Corner and Reach Around the World with the Good News of Jesus Christ!!

We look to do this through multiple opportunities in each of our four Mission Spheres, based on Acts 1:8 “…and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Our Jerusalem consists of ministry opportunities within the immediate neighborhoods and communities around UCUMC.  Our Judea consists of ministry opportunities that are mostly more regional in nature but include opportunities anywhere in the United States.  Our Samaria consists of ministry opportunities with groups of people that are many times unseen, overlooked, ignored and many times on the peripheral of society.  Our Ends-of-the-Earth consists of ministry opportunities that generally take place and/or support people outside of the United States in other countries.
