Ongoing Sunday School Classes
We are a Sunday school class made up primarily of "Baby Boomers" and we've been in existence in one form or another for over 30 years. Many of our classmates are retired, but not everyone. We would welcome new members of any age. Before Covid--we typically went to lunch together one Sunday a month--but we have not reinstituted that practice. We have 21 active members--but several others who have moved away and still participate in our prayers and praises email distributions each week.
What makes this group special is the love and support, openness and trust among the group. We are open to everyones' opinions--and those opinions can vary greatly. Our class discussions are open and honest. Our lessons are usually based on a lesson pulled from “Right Now Media.”
Our group is presently comprised of adults (5o+) who meet weekly for Sunday School to study the Bible through a combination of lessons, videos, and discussion. We also have about three social events a year either at the church or at an off-church location. We welcome any age.
Our class has six teachers who rotate Sundays. Some lesson topics are at the choice of the teacher; some classes are on a specific subject where each teacher takes a week; some classes are part video, followed by discussion with each teacher taking a week. Each teacher leaves time for discussion.
We have fun meeting together. We study the Bible to not only understand God’s word but how to apply to our lives and to our present culture. We have a very open group who feel comfortable sharing their opinions and questions.
Our group is made up of mostly adults (40’s-70's) who study a variety of subjects all grounded in scripture. We have a few different class leaders who rotate from season to season. In the past we have focused on reading various books from well-known Christian authors as well as direct study of scripture.
We enjoy meeting together and have developed a strong sense of community, to which we would be delighted to welcome folks of any age to be a part.
This group meets weekly for faith based discussion and fellowship. We also do church mission projects together and meet for socials throughout the year. We are mostly adults in their 40s and 50s although any age is welcome to join.
We will be continuing our Max Lucado Study of 1John, 2John, 3John, and Jude
Join our newest Sunday School class! Our identity as a group is still forming, but we’d love to have you as a part of that formation. All are welcome. Our lessons each week will be Bible-based. In addition to Sunday morning study and prayer we will also have opportunities for fellowship and serving in the church and community.
